Where do your products come from?
Our products are mostly custom made for a modern Medina. This process takes place in Morocco. We are collaborating with local craftsmen who manufacture the products entirely by hand in their local studios. We ensure you that the workers receive a fair price for their products and work in good conditions. Because everything is hand crafted, and often even vintage, no product will  ever be the same.  
Is it normal to find imperfections on my product?
Yes, this is quite normal. Because all of our products are handmade and some are vintage, it’s actually very common. These imperfections often give true character to the product. There is no machine used during the manufacturing process. Of course we make sure that the imperfections remain limited, and leave the least attractive products behind in Morocco.  
The item I wanted to buy is out of stock, what do I do?
Because all of our products are handmade in Morocco,  our collection consists of small quantities. This means that a product is likely to be sold out quickly. If you really would like the item you’ve seen, you can always send us an email at  
What ways are there to pay?
When placing your order online, you can choose from the following payment methods: IDEAL, credit card or transfer in advance. If you choose the last method, you should always mention your order number while paying. You will receive this number in your confirmation email after you have placed the order.

How much are the shipping costs?
This varies by product. It will depend on the weight. During your order the shipping costs will automatically appear on your screen before you enter the payment screen. Normally it costs €6,95 to ship a package up to 10kg within the Netherlands, but at a Modern Medina you only pay €3,95. We will take care of the remaining amount.   For orders from € 50, - and up, you do not have to pay shipping costs within the Netherlands NOTE: In case of a return, the customer always pays the shipping costs themselves.  
Can I order from outside of the Netherlands?
Yes, you certainly can. Just place an order online as usual. We use the standard rates of Post NL for shipments abroad.   For orders placed abroad we use the current rates of ‘Post NL’. Send us an email for the actual shipping costs . We will get back to you as soon as possible with the total amount including shipping.
How long does it take to receive my package?
Within the Netherlands we strive to deliver the package within 1 to 3 business days. Outside of the Netherlands, but in Europe, we strive to deliver the package within 3 to 6 business days. In other parts of the world it may take a little longer, depending on the country you’re ordering from.  
I changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
Yes, that's possible. When we haven’t sent the package yet, cancelling your order is free from any costs. Send an email to and always state the order number and the product(s) you would like to cancel. If your order is canceled after we have shipped the package already, you should refuse the package at the door or send it back to us. When we have received the package in good conditions, you will receive the money back as soon as possible, but within 30 days, on your account.
NOTE: In case of a return, the customer always pays the shipping costs themselves.  
The article does not meet my expectations; Can I send it back?
Yes, that's possible. Please use the return form. This form can be found in the package you received from us. The form explains what to do from here. You can also find this explanation at 'Return'. Again, you will receive your payment as soon as possible, but within 30 days, on your account.
